Hello,
I am building a small infrastructure using vCloud Director. Because It's a recommended practice to have two vCenter servers in a vCloud environment (http://www.kendrickcoleman.com/index.php/Tech-Blog/vcenter-and-vcloud-management-design.html). I decided to build this concept using the same SQL servers in the cluster.
First question: Based on your experience, are there any weaknesses which should look out for?
Secondly. In vCloud Cluster I use distributed switch (as shown in the diagram) based on the 2 10Gbps NICs, but in management Cluster i decided to use standard switches because as in the case of a larger vCenter failure I still have the opportunity to network reconfiguration.
Second question: Based on your experience. Do you see any danger or any faults on network diagrams? Should I have something improve or change? Maybe Should have 2 vDS (1 on Management Cluster and 1 on vCloud Cluster)?
Thanks
