Avoiding promiscuous mode for nested VMs under a virtual ESXi

Here is an interesting blog post on how you can avoid the promiscuous mode requirement for nested VMs under a virtual ESXi: http://blogs.vmware.com/vcloud/2015/04/nested-esxi-vcloud-air.html.

Basically, you allocate a unique vmnic in the virtual ESXi for each nested VM, and then you assign the same MAC address to the vmnic and to the virtual NIC in the nested VM.
