As the title states the issue with our Exchange server is that it does not send email, internal or external, after migrating from one VMware platform to a new one. The server is able to receive all email, internal (POP) or external domains, which I assume implies proper communication to the network/internet. To migrate the server it was turned off, after the migration, the network card MAC address was copied over from the old VMware as that has allowed to retain the IP configuration on the other servers I have migrated (tried a migration without copying the MAC and allowing the new VMware to automatically assign it, but same issue). After the migration, turning the server on and installing VMware tools, workstations (Outlook) connect to the server without issue, are able to check their email and receive email from our POP server or extenal domains, the only issue is that we cannot send any email. The SMTP connector configuration was verified as well but as we cannot even send email Exchange to Exchange I assume the SMTP connector does not come into play here either. Any suggestions are apreciated.
